    It does seem from his post that they just might be stalling!  I have never been asked by an online casino to provide two different forms of picture id's.  Seems rather redundant to me.  Also,  it seems that he has given more than the usual required documents to verify the who, where, and what, regarding his identify.

    Here is my opinion and advice on the matter:

    Regarding the expired license, they cannot accept this as valid identification until you have the new license card. Doesn't matter that you have requested the license, they need to see a picture of the new valid license card.

    As an alternative form of ID, do you have a passport? If not, then you will need to wait for your new license.

    Drivers licenses and Passports are the only standard universal form of identification. Your Italian National Identity Card, is not a accurate form of identification as all ID cards across the world are different and there is no way of telling if the ID doc is fraudulent or not. so as a general rule most casinos land based, or online wont accept this.

    so that was pretty stupid thing to do. And i dont think that many of you would support defrauding any casino.
    So you need to man up and take responsibility for your actions.

    At the same time casino has been pretty harsh with their decision to confiscate the winnings. I cant say i blame them for trying to protect themslevs but maybe some sort of solution can be found here.

  • I hope you can work something out with this case Zuga. Its a weird one. From where i stand Casino Atlanta has made every excuse not to pay this man. I wouldn't be surprised if the OP didn't change the expiration date on his DL.  Casinos will stoop to the lowest of forms to not pay players. You and I both has been in this industry for many many years we have seen many crooked things take place by both parties...  whistle

    When I won in a casino, and I asked for a withdrawal, they have asked for a document with pictures, and always sent my identity card, which contains my photos, my home address, my city my date birth, etc ... with a copy of my Visa card or a screenshot of my Skrill account!

    But I was not prepared to send two documents with photo? I have never asked 2 documents with photo! So I had to send a driver's license, because I do not have a passport, simply because I have never traveled!
    I did not expect that because the license had expired by 6 weeks there could be no doubt about my identity, after I sent all these documents!
    But even if there was this problem, you could just tell me, Massimiliano this license has expired for six weeks and not
    we can accept!

    And in the T & C of Atlanta casino did not see what documents you need to send!
    This says REPUS Adup will handle financial matters and determining the accaount a player with the verification documents, but does not say which specific documents to be sent! Then after support@casino-atlanta.com he sent me an email telling me that I had to send my identity card and yet another document with pictures and I then I sent my driver's license, but unfortunately the latter document had expired six weeks but already in the process of renewal in May and send them the documentation of the renewal with payment receipts and the costs of access and other .... renewal that I paid for the month of May!
    And I sent to support the Atlanta-casino, but with no response for months!

    I have asked many times:

    This hasnt ended positively I'm afraid. The casino has made their final decision and will not be paying your winnings.

    The main reason is because you sent in your license but you changed the expiry date with a black pen, falsifying yuor ID document. The casino has sent me evidence of this to me and Zuga,

    If you had sent in your license and not changed the expiry dates and explained your situation perhaps this could have ended better.

    Unfortunately we cannot help you any further with this matter as they have told us they will not budge and the decision to send back deposits and close account are final. We have tried our best to explain your situation regarding your license renewal etc.

    I don't entirely agree with you on this one . First off, the complainant ( maxtranchida ) did not have the valid ID ( his ID expired hence no longer valid ).
    You cannot verify your identity with expired documents. Why? It is fairly easy ( and unfortunately common ) to play online using someone else's identity. For a casino there is no other way to verify the true identity but to ask for a valid ID ( passport, driving license etc ).

    Now, is it my belief that complainant is misrepresenting himself, and using someone elses ID? No I dont believe that. But they still need to prove they are who they claim they are.

    Secondly, the OP did try to change the expiry date. Which is fraudulent behaviour. All he had to do is wait until he gets the new Government issued ID. Instead he tried to fake the expired ID. So that is entirely his fault. We were provided with the proof.

    Now , even with all this said, we did try to convince the casino to wait until the OP gets the new ID. But they decided to refund the player instead. We may not like it, but they were within their rights to do so.

    I still think it is the wrong decision but its not what can be considered as rogue behaviour. With so many identity fraud these days who can really blame them for being strict..

    And finally, I did ask maxtranchida several times to comment on the casino claim about the faked expiry date, and not once did he confirm or denied the claim. His command of English language might not be the greatest, but the question was direct, specific and explained several times to him.

    I understand that in players' nature is to always side with the player, but we all have to be objective here and realize that the fault is on OPs end.

    Now I digress, and want to address the claims about the casino Novomatic games and license.

    This question of the Novomatic games was something we started investigating months ago, and we did in fact try to reach the representatives of this software several times by email.
    We still havent got the reply, but will do some additional digging up.
  • My thing is what's the difference... If ID A: Listed his picture, his address, dob and its matches everything that his bills and skrill account has. but has an expired date. ID B will listed the same with a new expiration date. If the casino was serious about paying him. They could have easily asked him to take a photo of him holding the ID.

    When you asked them to reconsider (LCB, A well known site that is helping to promote them), they refused. Yet you even said yourself the OP is whom he said he is.

    What i am saying is if common sense was used. This should have never gotten to this point. Whenever one goes to renew a DL and the old one expired. They will gladly accept your expired one as legal valid id as it is still government issued.

    We have an issue of a player being accused of fraud by a casino that has a fraudulent license and fraudulent games. If this is true then this along should stop anyone from promoting and playing at such casino. THEY KNOW THE MAN IS LEGIT AS THEY COULD HAVE VERIFIED IT VIA SKRILL. YET THEY REFUNDED HIS MONEY TO A MAN THAT HAS COMMITTED FRAUD POSSIBLY WITH STOLEN FUNDS. CASINO ATLANTA WAS LOOKING FOR ANY REASON TO NOT PAY THE MAN A LEGIT WIN. EXPIRE ID OR NOT. THEY KNEW THIS MAN WAS WHO HE SAID HE WAS!
